How does paintless dent repair work?

Our team starts by working to mold the impacted metal back to its original factory shape. We locate the best point of entry to reach the back-end of the dent and the PDR process starts there. Occasionally, accessing these points are difficult and we have to drill to access the necessary areas, however, those holes are then plugged, coated and unnoticeable.

Manipulating the metal to get it back to its original form can prove to be difficult, which is why we highly recommend this not to be a DIY project, and instead of bringing it into the professionals. Doing this saves time, money and can, in turn, increase the value of your car.

Whether your car is made of aluminum or sheet metal, PDR is an application procedure for both. PDR is most commonly used to dents and dings that come from parking lot traffic, i.e., shopping carts and other small daily occurrences.

However, if the pain is chipped, has deep scratches or the dent is deep, then paintless dent repair may not be a viable option. Luckily, our team has plenty of alternative options on how to best go about repairing your vehicle with your budget in mind.
